Katherine Louise Wilson

February 14, 1932 - September 24, 2022

Katherine Louise Wilson, 90, of Conroe, went home to her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2022, at Countryside Manor, Conroe.  She was born on February 14, 1932, in Hemphill, Texas, to Maudie Lucille Clark Zeagler and Robert Lee Zeagler. Katherine was a member of several Baptist Churches during her lifetime. Her special ministries in those churches were directed to young girls and women.  She was a longtime leader in Girls Auxiliary, which provided Christian programs for young girls. She also taught several Sunday School classes for young women. Katherine enjoyed camping with her husband of sixty-four years, Joe, and her children and grandchildren. She was appreciated for her wonderful cooking during those camping experiences and during all holidays! Katherine was also a masterful seamstress.  She always made sure that her daughters had new outfits for special occasions.

Survivors include her children,  Auvy “Joe” Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Renette, of Conroe; Jerri Caldronia and her husband, Vincent, of Melissa; and Joan Richardson and husband, Gerald, of Beaumont; sister, Sheila Sheard and her husband, Sam; brother-in-law, Jerry Hanks; grandchildren, Jodi Foster and her husband, Stephen; Amy Kerr and her husband, Dennis; Jenifer Williams and her husband, Jason; Brian Caldronia and his wife, Bethany; and John Richardson and his wife, Emily; great grandchildren, Stephanie Foster Hoyden and her husband, Andrew; Zach, Rachel, and Leah Foster,  Hunter Kerr, Adam and Kate Williams, and Warren Richardson.

She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Joe; her parents, Maudie Lucille Clark Zeagler and Robert Lee Zeagler; and sisters, Laverne Hanks, Shirley Zeagler, and Sue Moore.

We would like to thank Countryside Manor staff and Amedisys‘ Hospice staff for the compassionate and loving care that they gave to our mom while under their care.
