Lena “MAw-Maw- Daleo Fertitta

May 5, 1915 - June 5, 2017

Lena May Fertitta, 102, of Florida, formerly of Beaumont, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center, Panama City, Florida. She was born on May 5, 1915, in Beaumont, to Josephine Daleo and Joseph Daleo.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Geralyn LaGrange and her husband, David; and granddaughter, Mattie Nikole Spivey and her husband, Terry, all of Panama City, Florida; great-grandchildren, Terry John Spivey, Jr. and Cheyenne Nikole Spivey, both of Panama City, Florida; sister, Anna Marie Polito, of Houston; nieces, Mary Mushinske and her husband, Rick, of Houston and Jane Huber and her  husband, Ronnie, of Houston; nephews, Joseph Yannazzo and his wife, Karen, of Conroe and Gerard Yannazzo and his wife, Stacey, of Livingston; and  five great-nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Fertitta; great-grandson, Joshua Earl Parker; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Joe Yannazzo; and brother, Frank Daleo; and brother-in-law, Felix Polito.

A gathering of Mrs. Fertitta’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
