Lexie LeAnn Baker

May 20, 2003 - August 20, 2023

Lexie LeAnn Baker “Lex”, 20, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2023. She was born May 20, 2003, in Ocala Florida, to Ty Christopher Baker and Christin LeAnn Baker. Her family relocated to Groves, Texas where she spent the remaining of her life.

She worked as a server at Reel Cajun for the time being, she planned to later attend esthetician school to further her career. Although her life was cut short Lexie made sure to always live it to the fullest, there was never a dull moment around her.

Besides spending time with her friends and family, Lexie loved the beach, listening to music, dancing, watching movies, the holidays, especially Halloween. It was by far her favorite time of the year.

Lexie had a bright and energetic personailty. She touched many lives with her story.

To know her was to love her. She may be gone but she’s never forgotten.

Lexie is survived by her parents; sister, Leah Nicole Baker; grandparents, Richard Smith and Carol Luce; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A gathering of Lexie’s family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
