Lillian Morgan

Lillian Morgan, 98, of Nederland, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024. She was born June 28, 1925, in Farrsville, Texas to Lois and John Thomas Holmes.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn Morrison and Thomas Morgan; grandchildren, Kenneth Morrison, Kevin Morrison and wife, Angela, Jerry Harrington Jr. and wife, Crystal, and Daniel Harrington; great-grandchildren, Tyler Morrison, Austin Morrison and wife, Kirsten, Kaitlyn Morrison, Tori Morrison, Cody Harrington, Cory Harrington, Collin Harrington, Jacob Harrington, Kirsten Harrington, Kolby Harrington, Dylan Weeks, and Caleb Hebert; and great-great grandchild, Leon Harrington.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois Holmes; husband, Amidee Morgan; daughter, Elna Harrington; sister, Johnnie Sheffield and brother, Sherlock Holmes.

A gathering of Mrs. Morgan’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Broussard’s. Her interment will follow and begin at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Jasper.
