Linda Gwen Koetter
Linda Gwen Koetter, 68, of Groves, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024. She was born May 5, 1955, in Port Arthur, to Gwendolyn Jo Hightower Dillard and Fay Kinmon Dillard.
Survivors include her children, Jeremy Hightower and wife, Crystal, and Kristin Bennefield and husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Madelynn Beard and husband, Sam; Kristopher Hightower and wife, Sommer; Chanler Hightower and wife, Abby; Trevor Hightower and wife, Taylor; and Kaylee Hebert and husband, Dustin; great-grandchildren, James Cauthron; Clark Hightower; Eleanor Beard; and Carl Hebert; and sisters, Nancy LeBlanc and wife, Mary, and Shana Hurd.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, James Hightower; and siblings, Mark Dillard and Judith Genusa.
A gathering of Ms. Koetter’s family and friends will begin at 12:30 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

I had the pleasure to work with Linda at INEOS. She sat across from me and she always had a way to turn the day around with laughter and she lightened up the office. She will be missed. God bless her and her family.
