Marjorie Ann Cassity
Marjorie Cassity, 88, of Silsbee, died Friday, March 5, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1933, in Coldspring, to Rebecca Woodruff McKellar and George McKellar.
Mrs. Cassity retired from Silsbee State Bank after over twenty-seven years of service. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, dancing, and working in the flower beds.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-nine years, Cecil A. Cassity; sister, Kathleen Frazier of Galveston; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
Mrs. Cassity’s gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 p.m., until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Coldspring.
