Mary Ellen Stepherson
Mary Ellen Stepherson, 84, of Nederland, died Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born January 24, 1939, in Beaumont, to Edward Carter and Margarite Satcher Carter.
She enjoyed gardening, listening to Dan Fogelberg, watching the Texas Rangers, Halloween, and wearing crazy socks. Her whole life revolved around her family. She was truly a joy to be around.
Mary is survived by her sons, Larry Wayne Stepherson and Steven Stepherson, both of Nederland; grandson, Zachary Buchanan; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Lennis Stepherson, Jr.; and son, Edward Leroy Stepherson.
A graveside service for Mary Stepherson will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.

I’m so sorry for your loss! Rest and try to find peace in knowing that she’s safe in the arms of Jesus now, with no more pain, sickness or or any other ailment.
There’s no way to be prepared for the death of a loved one, no matter how many times we are told or how long.
I have always loved Aunt Mary Ellen, and she will live on in your hearts and memories , as she will in mine and all who loved her!
