Michael John Alexander

Michael John Alexander, 62, of Beaumont, died Monday, February 15, 2010, at M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston. He was born December 13,1947, to Edith Meincher and Henry Thomas Alexander, in Beaumont. Mr. Alexander was in the United States Army during Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Dobbins; brothers, George Alexander and his wife, Joy, of Tyler, James Alexander and his wife, Eleanor, of Nederland, Henry Alexander of Beaumont, and Frank Alexander of Jasper; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and Great-nephews; and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edith Meincher and Henry Thomas Alexander.

A gathering of Mr. Alexander’s friends and family will be at 1:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow, Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
