Neda Sue Loventhal, 66, of Beaumont, died Monday, July 10, 2017, at Methodist Hospital, Houston. She was born on August 19, 1950, to Ellen LaCour Stapleton and Harry Jerome Stapleton, Jr., in Beaumont.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Braquet and her husband, Joey, of Beaumont; sons, Christopher Herrington and his wife, Jaclyn, of Nederland; and Tim Herrington and his wife, Natalie and Nicholas Herrington, all of Beaumont; sisters, Sharon Wallace and her husband, David and Linda Boyett and her husband, Wes, all of Beaumont; brother, Harry Stapleton and his wife, Dianne, of Nederland; sisters, Cindy Chambers and her husband, Jake and Terry Bienvenu and her husband, Jimmy, all of Beaumont; and Kelly Stapleton of Lewisville; and grandchildren, Tate Herrington, Dillon Herrington, Bayley Braquet, Hayley Braquet, Anderson Braquet, and Tucker Herrington.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Neda was a very nice lady. She was well liked by all our dance group. She and her date went to the Boat one time. Her date tried to get her to give him $20 so he could play it for her. She ate him up one side and down the other. We had a great time. My wife and I really liked Neda.
