Peter Gerard Morello
On the morning of May 18, 2017, the Good Lord called upon Peter G. Morello to be with him and his angels. Peter was born to Sam and Yola Morello on November 3, 1952 and lived his early years in the Brazos River Bottom outside of Bryan, Texas with his younger sister, Patty, and younger brother, Sam Jr. Peter graduated with a degree from Texas A&M University in 1974. Upon moving to Beaumont, Texas, he met and married his wife, Sandy, who bore him two children, Jamie and Peter Samuel. Peter lived his life as a man of God and was blessed with living a life he wanted to live. He enjoyed being with family and friends, riding his Harley, and always a refreshing cocktail. While his family mourns his loss, let it be known that heaven gained a truly unique and remarkable man.
Peter is survived by his sister, Patty McRae and husband Benny of Taylor Texas; his younger brother, Sam Jr. with his wife Janet; daughter, Jamie of Nederland; and son, Peter of Nederland; nephew, Drew of Austin; and nieces, Bethany of Grand Blanc, Michigan, and Kristen of Bryan, Texas; and numerous family, friends, coworkers, and any other individual who was blessed to know such a humble man.
Peter was preceded in death by his loving parents, Sam and Yola Morello of Bryan, Texas, and his wife, Sandy.
A gathering of Mr. Morello’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 401 South Parker Avenue, Bryan under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
