Raymond Wayne Shanks, 86, of Silsbee, died Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born on October 5, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Dessi Cutbirth Shanks and Orvill Shanks. Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Raymond lived in Chouteau, Oklahoma before moving to Silsbee in 2016.
Survivors include his Word of Life Church Family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Faye Shanks
A graveside service for Mr. Shanks will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
