Rebekah Vincent Young
Rebekah Vincent Young, 68, of Lumberton, died Friday, August 11, 2023, at Focused Care at Summer Place, Beaumont. She was born on January 29, 1955, to Delores Thompson and Emery Lawrence Vincent, in Beaumont. Rebekah retired as assistant manager at Thompson Answering Service.
Survivors include her mother, Delores Thompson of Beaumont; daughter, Jennifer Rieson of Lumberton; grandsons, Jacob Reeves, Austin Riesen, Kolby Riesen, and Karson Riesen; sisters, Debbie Kier, Janna Riddle, and Tamara Seale; and brother, Don Thompson.
A gathering of Mrs. Young’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont.

Way back when … Becky was to me like a sister I never had, she gave me unconditional love. I recall a Thanksgiving Day, being alone, and Becky insisted I come to their home to join her (J and Jennifer) for Thanksgiving dinner, she always made me feel special… along with other countless acts of kindness she would send my way.
I will never forget her!

Becky loved and treated me with unwavering kindness throughout my whole life. Some of those early times I really needed it and she knew it. A person like that doesn’t deserve or belong on this terrible planet. Tell James that I miss him a ton & if you get a chance tell my grandpa I love him. Thank you Becky for everything. I love you 🖤😭
