Stacey “Bubba” Williams
Stacey “Bubba” Williams, 48, of Nederland, died Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born January 31, 1975, in Nederland, to Jana Lea Johnson and Ray Allen Williams.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Babin Williams; sons, Justin Allen Williams and Layton Eric Williams; stepson, Alan Michael Mitchell; mother, Jana Leblanc and husband, Andrew; father, Ray Williams and wife, Judy; sister, Kelly Williams; nephew, Trendon Castillo; lifelong friend, Toby Moss; as well as aunts, uncles, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A gathering of Mr. Williams’ family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Williams’ honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741.

I just found out and I can’t believe it. Stacey was in my history class at PNG high school. Stacey was such a nice guy. He will be missed. I just wanted to tell the Williams and Leblanc family how sorry I am for your loss. I’m so glad I had the chance to get to know Stacey he was a great guy.

I met Stacy for the first time at the Para unit. I told him that I like giving superheroes names to new people. So I told him I would call him Spider-Man.
