Steven Richard Pullin

Steven Richard Pullin, 68, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on June 19, 2023.

Steve was born on February 3, 1955, to Osamay (OH) and Earlene Pullin in Port Arthur, Texas. After graduating from Nederland High School in 1973, he married his soulmate, Sharon Pullin (Rienstra) and served six years in the Navy as a nuclear operator. During his service, he was blessed with three beautiful children.

Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Navy, he began his career as a Nuclear Reactor Operator, working himself to Senior Reactor Operator, Senior Reactor Operator Training Instructor, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission Exam Writer, in Russellville, Arkansas Nuclear Power Plant. Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being outdoors. He taught and mentored his children on how to hunt, fish, and provide for their family.  It was during this time he created very close relationships with other families from the Russellville area. Resulting in lifelong friendships. The memories he created for his family from camping, hunting, fishing, and swimming in the creeks were some of the most cherished memories family and friends will never forget.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Steve was taken from his family and friends too soon. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Pullin; brother, Tommy Pullin and wife, Jodie Pullin; son, Jason Pullin and wife, Mandy Pullin; son, Andy Pullin; daughter, Catharina Miller and husband, Ronnie Miller; grandchildren, Olivia, Rachel, Madison, Zuri, Zayda, Zeke, Mayzie, Brian (Alex), Grasyn, and Kaidyn; and great-grandchildren, Liam and Nikola.

Mr. Pullin’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
