Thomas Luke Conway

Thomas Luke Conway, 52, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on May 7, 1971, to Mamie Lee Alford Conway and Robert King Conway, Sr., in Vinton, Louisiana.
Survivors include his wife, June Conway; siblings, Kelly Alford and his wife, Donna, of Little Cypress; Robert King Conway, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Washington; and Geanna Courmier and her husband, Paul, of Vinton, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roy Conway.
Mr. Conway’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TOMMY MEANT TO ME. I STILL REMEMBER SOME OF HIS STORIES THAT MADE ME LAUGH SO HARD I CRIED. MY FAVORITE IS THE ONE WHEN Y’ALL HAD STOPPED AT THE CONVIENCE STORE AND WHEN HE WALKED BACK TO THE CAR, SOMEONE HELD SOMETHING TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD AND SAID GIVE ME YOUR MONEY. TOMMY SAID HE ONLY HAD TWO DOLLARS AND SOME CHANGE, BUT HE TOLD THE GUY,” THAT BETTER BE A GUN BECAUSE IF IT’S NOT, I’M GONNA KICK YOUR A@@. TOMMY TURNED AROUND AND THE GUY HAD A KNIFE WHICH TOMMY TOOK AWAY FROM HIM, WHIPPED HIS BUT AND SAT DOWN ON THE CURB TO SMOKE A CIGARETTE AND WAIT FOR THE COPS TO COME. HE ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH AT HIS ANTICS. I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY. WHENEVER I NEEDED HIM TO HELP ME MOVE OR ANYTHING ELSE, HE WAS ALWAYS THERE. I WILL MISS HIM, BUT WILL CHERISH THOSE MEMORIES. MY LOVE AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU SWEETIE. IF YOU NEED ME, YOU KNOW HOW TO REACH ME.

Tom was my mechanic, my friend, and in my heart my family. June and Tom I love you both. God is our strength and always the answer.
Thank you Miss Roxy and he loves you too. He is in a better place now, and he is not hurting.
His suffering is over and he is in peace.
