Virginia Foster

Virginia Foster, 100, of Beaumont, died Thursday, June 15, 2023. She was born on February 28, 1923, in Fenton, Louisiana, to Alzina Granger and Thomas Daigle. Virginia retired from Kmart. She also spent many years volunteering in different roles for Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include her children, Lachresia Pilgreen of Beaumont; Linda Pickens of Tomball; Teresia Summerlin of Nederland; and Tommy Teague of Dallas; grandchildren, Tammie Buchholz, Shane Pilgreen, Kerry Pickens, Chris Pickens, Jeanine Claus, William Craigen, Tommy Teague, Jr., Amy Tang, and Monica Cohrt; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack Teague; her second husband, Harvey Foster; children, Erma Manning and Jack Bo Teague; grandchildren, Steve Wilson, Stacey Kay, and Shannon Touchet, and brothers, Everett Daigle and Nelson Daigle.

Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1882 Park Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.

A gathering of Mrs. Foster’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
