In my thirty-plus years as a teacher, administrator, and educational diagnostician, I have come in contact with many administrators of various ability. The good ones took responsibility when things went bad and gave credit when things were good, made you feel that you were working with them instead of working for them, and above all, were good teachers. Tom Thomason was one of the best. I was fortunate to have an association with him early in my career. Rest in peace, dear boss, mentor, and friend.

Tommy was a great guy. I enjoyed him in grade school as well as high school. Talked to him many times in the years that followed and he was slows a joy to visit with. The last few years were not so great for him because if his illness. We never know what life will deal us. My love and condolences to his family. Patboltonjackson classmate of SHS 1954

Dr. Thomason was the Administrator of Beaumont Remedial Clinic, where we worked together in the late 60's & early 70's. He was such a friendly, cordial, professional boss . From the keepsake video, it appears that he had such a wonderful, happy life. He certainly deserved it. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.
