Jeremiah “Jerry” Penry
Jeremiah “Jerry” Penry, 85, of Silsbee, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. He was born on March 27, 1937, in Woodville, to Maggie Mae Tullos Penry and I. Lee Penry.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie Penry; children, Pandora Penry of Port Arthur; Steven Penry and his wife, Sue, of Marquez and Lisa Rashall and her husband, Darrell, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Allan Obergon of Port Arthur, Shaylynn Rashall of Silsbee, Seth Penry of Hunstville, Sean Penry of Marquez; siblings, Mae Isbell of Beaumont and Eddie Ray Penry of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, John Penry, and other brothers and sisters.
A gathering of Mr. Penry’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment at 3:00 p.m., at Shiloh Cemetery, Converse, Louisiana.

Prayers to the family. I worked with Jerry at the Silsbee SWB Test Center and he was a wonderful man. He fixed a flat for me one day at work. He was well respected. RIP
