Charles Thomas Crostley

September 14, 1942 - May 30, 2024

Charles Thomas Crostley, 81, of Beaumont, Texas, died peacefully at home, Thursday, May 30, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1942, in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, to Helen (Otto) and Charles Crostley.  Charles was a devoted husband for over 56 years, supportive father, and a beloved grandfather.

Charles was employed by the United States Army, as both active duty and a civilian for 43 years.  This gave Charles and his family the opportunity to live across the United States and Europe.  Family was above all else for Charles.  He was always there with whatever they needed.  Charles enjoyed his free time gardening and spending it with his wife and grandchildren.

Charles is survived by his wife, Maria Lis (Velazquez) Crostley; daughter, Nadine McConkey and her husband, Mark, of Huntsville, Alabama; and Jessica Delia and her husband, Nick, of Litchfield, New Hampshire; and grandchildren, Stephen McConkey, Charles McConkey and wife Della, Matthew McConkey, Abigail Delia, and Luke Delia; sister, Marie Seitz, of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Andria Crostley; brother, Gene Crostley; and in-laws Pedro and Consuelo Velazquez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Mr. Crostley at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2024, at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

    Chuck was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was generous with his garden flowers and ready to help during power outages. Loved his wife and kids and grandchildren. I will miss his council and fellowship and conversations. Rest in peace till we meet again in glory.
