Billy Burch, Sr.

Billy Ray Burch, Sr., 82, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019. He was born on April 19, 1937, in Evadale, to Lillie Tanton Burch and Ed Burch.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Burch; sons, Billy Ray “Jr” Burch and his wife, Gail, of Evadale and James Wilson of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Misty Tanner and her husband, Derrick; Jamie Wilson; Teresa Wilson; and Kristi Wilson, all of Duncan, Oklahoma; and Amy Garner and her husband, Jonathan; and Bethany Broyles and her husband, Dawson, all of Evadale; great-grandchildren, Talon Clements, Ariiana Montoya, Jersey Maldonado, Ali Maldonado, Devon McMinn, and Bentley McMinn, all of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Carson Broyles and Bayleigh Garner, both of Evadale; sisters, Bertie Hathaway and Virginia Cravey; and brother, Lewis Burch. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Floyd Ray Burch; brother, Shorty Burch; and sister, Louise Rawls.

A gathering of Billy’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service is 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2019, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Morse Cemetery, Buna.
