Alyce Faye Ryan

Alyce Faye Ryan, 78, of Kountze, died Saturday 30, 2023.  She was born on August 3, 1945, in Honey Island, to Aggie Busselle Nicklebur and Jasper Nicklebur.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Ryan Blakeney and her husband, Jimmy, of Honey Island; son, Gary Ryan of Honey Island; grandchildren, Natasha Ryan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ron Faulk of Lumberton, Brandon Faulk of Honey Island, Justin Ryan of Kountze, Jake Ryan of Lumberton, Ethan Blakeney of Honey Island, Jeremey Ryan of Lumberton, Dylan Ryan of Burleson,  and Drew Ryan and Bubba Ryan, both of Honey Island; great-grandchildren, Mason Blakeney, Maddie Blakeney, Amelia Faulk, Kru Faulk, Rielynn Ryan, Maverick Ryan, Liam Ryan, Mark Ryan, and Annie; and brother, Bobby Nicklebur and his wife, Betty, of Silsbee.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam Howard Ryan; son, Mark Howard Ryan; grandchildren, Cody and Christopher Ryan; daughter-in-law, Laurie Ryan; and brothers, Lester Nicklebur and Joe Nicklebur.

A gathering of Alyce’s family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.  Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2023, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Jordan Cemetery, Honey Island.
