André Deon van Aswegen

December 17, 2005 - February 16, 2024

Our dearest André Deon van Aswegen (IRON MAN), 18, left us on February 16th, 2024, when he gained his Angel wings. André was born December 17, 2005, in Vredenburg, South Africa.

André was a student at Nederland High School and part of the Band and Theater. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was an inspiration to so many people. His biggest obstacle was his battle with Metastatic Ewing Sarcoma cancer, and he fought very hard until the end. André was grateful and blessed with all the support he received from so many people. He truly was our IRON MAN. He always had the most beautiful smile when meeting people.

André leaves behind his loving parents, Willem and Natasha; siblings, Sarel, Ané and Willem; fiancé, Morgan; grandparents, Deon, Barbara and Anna; various Uncles, Aunts and cousins. And so many friends that became Family to him.

Fly high with our other loved ones, grandfather, Sarel Van Aswegen, great grandmother Dottie, Uncle Ronnie and so many more.

We will always carry you in our hearts and cherish the time we had with you.

You were truly loved.
