Andy Bogan

Andy Bogan, 61, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born May 2, 1962, in Beaumont, to Joe Bogan and Roz Carter. Andy graduated from Forest Park High School in 1981.

In the 80s, Andy owned and operated LaBoucherie in Lake Charles. He then worked in sales and marketing for Del Papa Distributing and retired after 31 years of service. Andy never met a stranger. Andy enjoyed spending all his weekends at the beach fishing with his family and friends. If he wasn’t fishing, he was hunting. Andy loved his family more than anything, he was so excited to be a Papa.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Debbie Bogan of Beaumont; father, Tom Carter of Beaumont; daughter, Lindsey Bonner and husband, Trace Bonner, of Mont Belvieu; grandson, Bowen Bonner of Mont Belvieu; brother, David Bogan and wife, Cindy, of Friendswood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He preceded in death by his parents, Roz Carter and Joe Bogan; and brother, Scotty Bogan.

A gathering of Mr. Bogan’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

    Andy was a great friend. He lived down the street and as we grew up together having fun, enjoying life . We got into trouble together a few times, but somehow we escaped the big legal troubles.

    We got to know Andy when we brought the clydesdales in his area. He was definitely a member of our crew. Andy always went way above and beyond for us. From hiding his golf cart in the back of the wagon truck to going out and eating crabs, we always had a great time with Andy. He was so proud of his family. He will be greatly missed
