Angus Helms Nichols

Angus Helms Nichols, 83, of Silsbee, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born December 4, 1938 in Alabama.

Survivors include his children, Mike Smith of Lumberton; Sherry Bernard and husband, Rynell of Kountze; Julie Delgado and spouse, Arturo of Kansas; Nickie Nichols of Kansas; grandchildren include Christopher Buchanan and wife, Colleen of San Antonio; Matthew Buchanan and wife, Jessica of Victoria; Kyle Mael of Spurger; Nicholas Mael of Missouri; Miranda Arciniega Fountain and spouse, Catalina of Fort Worth; Olivia Smith of Buna; Brent Mesaros of Kansas; Christopher Mesaros of Kansas; Markis Mesaros of Kansas; Nicholas Nichols of Kansas; siblings include Thomas Nichols and wife, Belinda of Silsbee; Stella Tohill of Texarkana; Barbara Nichols Hinote and husband, William of Tyler; nephew, Steven Tohill of Texarkana; nieces Melissa Galvan of Texarkana; Wendy Hinote Lanier and spouse, Boyd of Lindale; and numerous great grandchildren.

Angus is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Nichols, father, James Nichols, wife, Sandra Gail Nichols, and daughter, Debra Rangel.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
