Annetta Pillow

Annetta Jean Brown Biano Pillow, 90, of Sour Lake, Texas, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 4, 2018. Annetta was born on September 27, 1927, to James K. and Oma Brown in Rockford, Illinois. 

Affectionately known as “Netta” each person she had contact with will hold special memories of her. She loved gospel music, had a wonderful talent and special skill for sewing, and her kind words were followed with big hugs. Her loving open heart and home were always a welcome sign to all. She is the true inspiration of providing as only a mother and grandmother can be. You have found your place among the angels. Go and rest well. 

Survivors include her sister, Mary B. “Teny” and her husband, Bud Jordan, of Lumberton; children, Marilyn A. Bertman of Sour Lake; Marvin A. “Freddy” Biano and his wife, Ruby, of Fannett; Rebecca J. Reed of Sour Lake; Ramona S. Biano of Sour Lake; Wesley A. Biano and his wife, Anna, of McKinney; Stuart L. Biano of Sour Lake; stepsons, David Pillow and his wife, Joanie, of Sanger, California; and Arthur Pillow and his wife, Sandy, of Clovis, California; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen-great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by both parents; husbands, Marvin A. Biano, Sr. and Marshall D. “Buster” Pillow; stepsons, Don and Bo Pillow; and grandson, Brandon J. Buehring.

A gathering of Mrs. Pillow’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2018, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
