Annie Bryan

October 24, 1928 - July 27, 2018

Annie Beatrice Harrell Bryan, 89, of Nederland, died Friday, July 27, 2018. She was born on October 24, 1928, in Port Arthur, to Victoria George Harrell and Johnnie Harrell.

Annie was a great singer and enjoyed singing in the church choir when she was younger. She enjoyed sewing, but most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Connie Castino and her husband, Johnny, of Cheek; James Joseph Bryan, Jr. and his wife, Angela, of Montgomery; and Elizabeth Bryan Winn and her husband, Charles, of Katy; grandchildren, James Perry Bryan, Carol Anne Rensland, Jennifer Michelle Bryan, John Harrell Bryan, Joseph William Rensland; and Bryan Mitchell Castino; six great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Harrell and his wife, Sandra, of Richmond, Virginia; brother-in-law, Tommy French of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and sister-in-law, Lydia Fisk of Walterboro, South Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Joseph Bryan, Sr.; and sister, Mary French.

A gathering of Mrs. Bryan’s family and friends will be 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service following at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bryan’s memory to American Heart Association, 10900-B Stonelake Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78759.
