Betty Amy

Betty Sue Amy, 85, of Groves, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Betty was born on June 29, 1932, in Ashland, Kentucky, to Agnes Lucille Dodson Ratliff and James Milton Ratliff.

Survivors include her sons, Gary W. Amy and his wife, Laurel, of Port Arthur; Keith Amy of Groves; and Brian Amy and his wife, Brenda, of Fannett; grandchildren, Kristy Amy, Brian Amy Jr., Blake Amy, Britni Amy, Nancey Amy Griswold, and Taylor Amy; great-grandchildren, Brycen Amy, Millie Amy, Aniyah Finkley, Rowen Amy, Amaury Finkley, Natalie Griswold, Scarlett Perez, Adam Lopez, Gage Whitten, and Harlow Whitten; and sister, Jackie Bartlett of Brunswick, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam Wayne Amy; and brothers, James Paul Ratliff and Ronnie Ratliff.

A gathering of Mrs. Amy’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
