Billy Gerald Flowers, Sr.

Billy Gerald Flowers, Sr., 92, of Kountze, died Sunday, January 16, 2022.  He was born on July 7, 1929, in Village Mills, to Rosie Stott Flowers and Charlie Flowers.

Survivors include his son, Joe Mark Flowers and his wife, Sheree, of Silsbee; grandchildren, Cody Swor and his wife, Crystal, of Kountze; Heather Stippel and her husband, Zach, of Winnie; Derrick Flowers and his wife, Shawna, of Beaumont; Misty Flowers of Silsbee; Amy Flowers of Beaumont; and Shawn Flowers of Silsbee; great-grandchildren, Carli Swor Lutz and her husband, Brandon; Cheleby Swor; Cody Shane Swor; Blake Carey; Dallas Flowers; Corvin Stippel; Witten Ard; Sofie Flowers; Elijah Stippel; and Walker Flowers; and siblings, Louise Merrit of Silsbee and Ruth Alexander of Buna.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo Ann Reed Flowers; son, Billy Gerald Flowers, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Renee Flowers; siblings, Richard Flowers, Charles Flowers, Louzelle Johnson, Marie Creel, Tommy Flowers, Johnnie Flowers, Andrew Flowers, and Mary Hammock.

A gathering of Mr. Flowers’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Village Mills Cemetery, Village Mills.  Please observe social distancing guidelines.
