Bobby Ray Cooley

January 29, 1947 - February 4, 2024

Bobby Ray Cooley, 77, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was born on January 29, 1947, to Mildred Pauline Graham Cooley and Grover Cooley, in Beaumont.

Bobby was a fun-loving, kindhearted generous man who will be dearly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He will be remembered as a family man who was proud of his family, always bragging on their accomplishments. His favorite pastimes were spending time at “the camp” and taking multiple trips weekly to Sam’s Club always looking for a deal. He also loved being outside working in his garden and tending to his plants. Bobby was always ready to make people laugh with his quick-witted humor and crazy sayings. He definitely made this world a better place and will be missed by so many.

Survivors include his wife, Joleen Cooley; children, Desiree Rice and her husband, Gregory and Chandra Jones and her husband, Ray, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Kayla Toro-Guzman and her husband, Robert; Colin Toro; Tanner Jones and his wife, Jayme; and Bree Jones; great-grandchildren, Finley Toro-Guzman, Harrison Toro Guzman, and Jessi Raye Jones; and siblings, Terri Cooley and Cindy Douglas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry Cooley and Keith Christian.

His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium  under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
