Brent Michael Burks
Brent Michael Burks, 48, of Beaumont, died Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born on July 8, 1973, in Beaumont, to Mary and Ed Burks. Brent graduated from Beaumont Christian High School. He then lived and worked as a manager at The WingHouse Bar and Grill in Orlando, Florida. Brent was a huge Houston Astros fan and a great golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Katie Messman Burks; parents; brother, Brian Burks; nieces, Brookelyn and Blakely Burks; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
A gathering of Mr. Burks’ family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with his funeral service to follow at 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family interment will be held at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calder Baptist Church, 1005 North 11th Street, Beaumont, Texas 77702.
