Calvin Bruce Wimer, Jr.

June 5, 1969 - December 14, 2022

Calvin Bruce Wimer, Jr., 53, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, December 14, 2022.  He was born on June 5, 1969, in Beaumont, to Linda Adams Wimer and Calvin Wimer, Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Adams Ruggles; sister, Michelle Boyett and her husband, James, of Silsbee; nieces and nephews, Celess Dickert and her husband, Brian, of Silsbee; Corey Boyett of North Richland Hills; Jamie Moss of Silsbee; and Jeremy Boyett and his wife, Amanda, of North Carolina; and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Wimer, Sr. and stepfather, Rodger D. Ruggles.

A gathering of Calvin’s family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Silsbee.

    Calvin was smart, funny and a wonderful loyal friend. Calvin and I worked together for Csrdon Healthcare at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He had witty sense of human and could make you laugh. He was a brave and courageous fighter to the end. Gone to soon.
