Carolyn Rainer
Carolyn Rainer, 90, of Katy, died Saturday, June 20, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1930, in Marshall, to Sara Butler Fogleman and D.C. Fogleman.
Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Lewis of San Antonio and Monica Voss and her husband, Mark, of Katy; grandchildren, Deidre Nash of San Antonio; Anita Banfield and her husband, Jeff, of Fredericksburg; Dewitt Lewis and his wife, Anna; and Carol Lewis, all of Austin; Brian Voss, Nicholas Voss, and Kelli Voss, all of Katy; and Elizabeth Matcek and her husband, John, of Baytown; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Rainer; son, Jessie Lewis; grandchild, Jeremiah Nash; sisters, Ann Leviness and Lerline Gore; and brothers, D.C. Fogleman and Troy Fogleman.
A gathering of Mrs. Rainer’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Cunningham Cemetery, Silsbee.
