Carrie Belle Rozier

Carrie Belle Rozier of Beaumont, died Sunday, March 12, 2023, was born May 28, 1934, in Gainesville, Georgia. Her parents were Nancy Belle and Curtis Edwards. She attended Johnstown High School in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She worked at Bali-Bra of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She was also pianist and organist for many of the churches in Johnstown and also a member of the Piano Gospelettes.

She had 2 brothers who preceded her in death, Curtis Jr. and Jesse Edwards and one sister, Ernestine of Magnolia, North Carolina. She was married to Donnie Rozier of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. They had 3 children, Denise, 62, of Beaumont, Donnie, 52, of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Dwayne, 51, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has 7 grandchildren, Darrail, 41, Houston, Texas, Tarah and Tarajae of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Dwayne Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Gabriel, Mecelia, Donnie Paul of Johnstown, Pennsylvania; and 2 great-grandchildren, are Jermarkus, 16, and Adrian 15 of Spring, Texas.

Mrs. Rozier’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
