Charles Maurice Dunlap

Charles Maurice Dunlap, 86, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024.  He was born on February 26, 1938, in Pennsylvania, to Rosella Dunlap.  Mr. Dunlap proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his children, Denise McGaugh and her husband, Bobby, of California; Debbie Shakely and her husband, David, of Las Vegas; Melissa Shaw and her husband Chris and Sofia Torres and her husband, Alfredo, all of Silsbee; Rose Dunlap Adaway and her husband, Bobby, of Orange; and Charles Dunlap and his wife, Pearl, of Arizona; grandchildren, Ashley and Brandon Dunlap, Morgan, Mason, Cody, and Kyle Shaw, Charles and Austin Adaway, Daniel Porzadek, Alexis Maggard, Allison and Adrianna Porzadek, and Jacob Torres; great-grandchildren, Greyson Porzadek, Jackson Hoke, and Logyn and Everett Maggard; and siblings, Shirley Baker of Oklahoma; Terry Black and his wife, Cindy, of Ohio; Glenn Black and his wife, Grace, of Pennsylvania; and Sonny Black of Houston.  He is preceded in death by his mother and his wife, Mary Rita Dunlap.

Mr. Dunlap’s committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
