Charles William Branham, Sr.

August 19, 1948 - May 27, 2017

Charles William Branham, Sr., 68, was called by our Lord to his Heavenly home on Saturday, May 27, 2017. He passed into eternity at MD Anderson surrounded by his family

He began his blessed life on August 19, 1948, being born to Abbitt Branham, Sr. and Sylvia Wilmer Branham. He grew up in Port Acres and then moved to Fannett, where he enjoyed every aspect of “country life” to its fullest. He loved camping, farming, fishing, and especially his chickens. Charles and Rebecca began their married life on July 2, 1977, and were active members of their church and prison ministry. He spent his lifetime working construction to support his family. Charles was the ultimate “family” man. His children and eight grandchildren were the center of his heart and soul.

Survivors include the love of his life his “bride” of 39 years, Rebecca Branham, who was never far from his side. His three children were his treasures, Jennifer Branham McShan and her husband, Jerry; Charles William Branham, Jr. and his wife, Rhonda; and Joshua Branham and his wife, Tabitha, all of Fannett, Texas. He also had a niece dear to his heart, Erica Branham, whom he helped raise. He is also survived by his three crazy brothers, Thomas Branham, David Branham, and Abbitt Branham, Jr.

His true pride and joys were his eight grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Branham, Brayden and Bryleigh McShan, Kolt, Avery, Kasen and Brooks Branham. He was actively involved with his grandchildren attending many sporting events, recitals and church programs. He treasured every moment he had with them. He loved fishing, rodeos and camping with his grandbabies.

He also cared very deeply for his extended family. He loved and was so proud of his many nieces and nephews.

His parents and his two younger sisters, Barbara and Pamela Branham preceded him in death.
