Clifford “Cliff” Gerald Barrileaux

Clifford “Cliff” Gerald Barrilleaux, 60, of Lumberton, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017, at his home. Cliff was born on January 28, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Dorothy and Gerald Barrilleaux. He graduated from Nederland High School in 1975 and served in the United States Air Force from 1975 until 1979.

Cliff received an Associate’s Degree from Lamar University Institute of Technology in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. On December 7, 1983, he married Katherine Ann Barrilleaux. Cliff was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for J. Allen Management Company. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling and cooking in his spare time.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Barrilleaux; children, Clayton Carl of Aurora, Colorado; Laurie Swindells and her husband, Michael, of Lumberton; Shawn Meadows and his wife, Jann, of Estes Park, Colorado; and Ashley Metz and her husband, Gary, of Crowley; twelve grandchildren and one on the way; brothers, Rick Barrilleaux and his wife, Vicki and Brent Barrilleaux and his wife, Lori; sister, Beverly Lowrance and her husband, Jimmy; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of Mr. Barrilleaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Broussard’s. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
