Connie De La Rosa

Connie De La Rosa, 96, of Magnolia, formerly of Beaumont, died Saturday, October 29, 2022. She was born on March 27, 1926, in Hardin, to Conception Prado and John Lopez.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie De La Rosa and his wife, Pat, of Galveston; grandchildren, Kelly James and her husband, Wes; Robert Byron Hamilton and his wife, Dawn; and Kimberly Hamilton, all of The Woodlands; and Veronica Martinez of League City; great-grandchildren, Brooke Taylor and her husband, Michael; Byron Reginald Hamilton; Kiana Martinez; Leila James; Bailey McMahon; Coral Hamilton; and Mason Hamilton; great-great-grandson, Iver Taylor; brother, Jesse Lopez; and honorary daughter, Nova Maureen Poe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Julius De La Rosa; daughter, Rebecca Hamilton; and siblings, Lucy Granado, Ross Lopez, Elvira Krummel, Emma Orena, Francis Vogel,  and Mike Lopez.

A gathering of Mrs. De La Rosa’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
