Constance Joan Nelson was born April 19, 1934, in Yakima, Washington. Joan passed away peacefully on August 5, 2022.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth John “Skip” Tammen of Round Rock, Texas; grandson, Denton Tammen; granddaughter, Abigail Tammen; grandson, Jeremy Burkett; grandson, Josh Shannon; and granddaughter, Samantha Schexnider.
Joan is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Hope Bailey; father, Frank Wendell Nelson; brother, Jim Nelson and daughters, Candace Hope Shannon, Deborah Annette Reed, and Tamara Joan Tammen.
Mrs. Nelson’s cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
