Connie, you meant the world to James Earl and I and we treasured the friendship we had with you. After Covid struck, we were unable to visit you but we have wonderful, unforgettable memories we shared together. The photo of the three of us on your
100th Birthday in the beautiful white frame is one I will always cherish. I had one made for you to keep and you would call me and say that every morning, the first thing you would see would be our picture together and you would say Good Morning to us. I’ll always love my sweet Connie. Meeting you at St. John Lutheran Church was our blessing from God. You are with your loved ones in Heaven now. May you rest in peace and please tell James Earl I love and miss him and I will miss you, too.

Connie was a delight to be around. She was so kind & always interested in our lives. I treasure our conversations & remember her 100 year birthday @ the hospital. She was an example to all of us volunteers.

    Steven Cutaia says:

Ms. Connie and I had an age difference of almost 40 years, yet everytime I was around her she seemed 40 years younger than me! What a wonderful angel our Lord has embraced. May she rest in peace as that is what she prayed for the last years of her life here on earth. Now her eternal life has begun. We will miss her smile and kindness, but know she is looking down on us and wishing all of us well. We will keep our memories of her in our hearts and the love for her will last forever. God Bless you Ms. Connie.

    Janice Robertson says:

My Aunt was so kind and thoughtful, always asking about my sister, JoAnn Stuart and her husband and their children’s families in Ga and DC. She was a good listener and full of wisdom and she loved the Lord. I’m so happy she is with Jesus and her soul is at peace, I will miss her laugh, Janice Robertson (Memphis)

I have often wondered over the past few years what happened to dear Ms. Connie. She and my mom, Doris Cascio, were very good friends while volunteering many years at Baptist Hospital. Maybe she and mom will set up an “Information Desk” in heaven! RIP Ms Connie.
