Dalton David Drake

Dalton David Drake, 24, of Nederland, died Monday, April 22, 2024. He was born November 29, 1999, in Beaumont, to Gretchen Craft and David Randall Drake, Jr.

Dalton was a very strong and loving man. He was very loyal and always stood up for what he thought was right. Dalton always cared and wanted to help anybody that needed him. His love for his daughter, Octavia, was unmatched. Although he is gone, he will forever be missed and loved by all.

Survivors include his mother, Gretchen Craft; father, David Drake; daughter, Octavia Drake; brother, Gabe Drake; aunt, Traci Dunk and husband, Scott; nephew, Wesley Drake; niece, Layla Drake; and cousins, Ben Dunk, Spencer Lopez, Cristen Crew, and Shae Imwalle.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jacque Craft and Dalton Bruce Craft; paternal grandparents, David Randall Drake and Sandy Drake; and aunt, Charla Caldwell.

A gathering of Dalton’s family and friends will begin at 2:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
