Danny Lynn Bellow
Danny Lynn Bellow, 61, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas. Danny was born on June 15, 1961, to his mother, Myrtle Jean Berry Bellow, and father, A.D. Bellow, Jr., in Port Arthur, Texas.
Danny grew up in Port Arthur, Texas and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979. For over thirty years, Danny worked at Nederland Independent School District (NISD) as a HVAC Technician and Warehouse Manager. Prior to his time at NISD, Danny worked as a Mechanical Contractor for Natkin, was a part of Bob Smith’s Air Conditioning Systems, and joined the United Steelworkers Union. During his time at NISD, Danny encountered many colleagues and friends whom he enjoyed seeing every day. In 2016, Danny (being Danny) took on a second job at SAIA to be their Dock Manager, and he took tons of pride in his new role while making more friends and colleagues along the way.
On August 17, 1982, Danny married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Montalvo. They enjoyed over forty years of marriage by living every up and down to its fullest. God blessed Danny with a soulmate in Lisa, and they took advantage every day they had together. A blessing that very few get to experience for such a long period of time. They will always be together. Danny and Lisa enjoyed many activities and hobbies throughout their wonderful time together. Some of those included going to concerts, spending days at the beach, watching movies, being in bowling leagues, gardening, cooking, love for dogs and most importantly, creating memories with his beautiful family. Together, they would have 2 sons and a growing amount of grandchildren: currently have 4 with 1 on the way. Danny was a devoted father and grandfather who tirelessly provided for his family. Danny was known for his work ethic and strong core values which he made sure to instill in his two sons. Little did he know, both of his sons would view him as a role model forever.
Danny was an avid lover of animals especially dogs and birds. He began woodworking in the last year or so and made several ornaments for his family and friends. Danny also enjoyed learning about history where he would find himself lost in a rabbit hole from time to time. Plus, Danny really enjoyed watching and playing sports, and his two favorite sports were baseball and golf. Most importantly, Danny’s favorite hobby was fishing throughout the water holes of SETX. Danny traveled across the country to attend Kirby’s baseball games and spent countless hours talking sports and life with him. Danny also loved fishing and sharing gardening secrets with his oldest son, Blake. Bobby, Danny’s oldest brother, was known as his fishing “mentor.” Those two knew every fishing spot that touched the Gulf. Tommy, Danny’s middle brother, shared many golfing and surfing trips. They have some unforgettable stories together. Danny really enjoyed his hunting trips especially with his nephew, Justin. Danny was looking forward to buying a new boat and creating more memories with his grandchildren who he loved very much.
Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Lisa Bellow; father, A.D. Bellow, Jr.; sons, Blake Bellow and wife, Ann and Kirby Bellow and wife, Taylor; grandchildren, David Bellow; Vera Bellow; Brixton Bellow; and Owen Bellow; brothers, Bobby Bellow and wife, Karen and Tommy Bellow and wife, Fran; nieces, Ashley DeGlandon and husband, Jimmy and Amy Callaway and husband, Jarrett; nephews, Justin Bellow and wife, Betty and Robbie Bellow and wife, Angie; brothers-in-law, Morris Montalvo and wife, Renee and Freddie Montalvo and wife, Jan; sister-in-law, Wendy Saldana; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.
He is preceded in death by his mother.
A memorial service for Mr. Bellow will begin at 2:00 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Bellow’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Lisa,
Sending love and prayers for you and your family in your great loss. May God in His great mercy wrap you in His loving arms and give you peace with knowing that you and Danny will be together always in spirit till your souls reunite. ????
To Lisa, Blake, Kirby, and all the family:
I am so sorry for your loss.
Danny was a loving husband and father, loyal family member, and a cut-up of a coworker.
I will remember our Saldaña- Montalvo family gatherings, especially his deep insights of life and sports. You knew he was really laying it on thick when he had my brother Michael’s eyes rolling. He knew how to tell a story and a joke.
I remember him as a fun coworker at NISD. When he came to campus or my room and saw me, I knew a story or joke was about to happen. Such great, fun memories!
Danny Bellow, I will miss you
Lisa, I know your heart is broken ????. I am sending you hugs and prayers that God will bring peace to you and your sons. You are loved ????
Lisa, May all the fond memories bring you and the family comfort at this time. Danny was always nice to speak to at work (especially the baseball stories) and when the boys were in high school together. He will be missed by many.

We all are so very sorry for your loss. Danny, Jesse, and I (Steve) have had so many great times back in High School. Our hearts and prayers go out to you, and the boys, and all of the family. May you find peace in all of the memories you have had together.
Danny was such a joy to work around. Our daily interactions consisted of lots of fist bumps, laughs, and many pictures exchanged — him showing me pictures of his grandchildren, and me showing pictures of my daughter. It was clear he loved his family with all of his heart. It was an honor and a blessing to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Danny was such a joy to be around each day. He brought so much light and love to those of us who knew him. God is your peace and comfort.
Our prayers and condolences to you and your family. Although we did not know Danny for long, he touched both of our lives with his kindness and sincerity. He will always be remembered.
I have been praying for you and your family. I will truly miss seeing Danny at the Warehouse. When I saw him he would give me a hug and give me a hard time about wearing my hair net. I always told him I could get him one if he would wear it & he could work with me in Child Nutrition. He never took me up on it. ????
Mr. Danny,
thank you for being a great neighbor for always being so kind and generous towards us. For bringing me salsa and tomatoes every summer from your garden. You will be missed
