David Clayton Wingfield

David Clayton Wingfield was born November 18, 1958 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 62.

The love of David’s life has been his daughter, Lindsey, his many friends, and his work as a pipeline inspector. David seldom met anyone he didn’t like and made most everyone feel “at home” in his presence. He was a dog lover and often said he liked all dogs more than he liked some people!

David is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Knight of Dallas; one brother, Ed Wingfield of Ponce De Leon Florida; and a host of extended family, friends and his work family at Motiva.

He was preceded in death by his wife Melania, his mother Margaret and his father Richard.

A gathering of Mr. Wingfield’s family and friends will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday April 30, 2021, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A memorial service will be held at Bristow Cemetery, in Bristow, Oklahoma at a later date.
