I have known Thurman since 1987 thru the YMBL and he was a great man. He used to stop by and talk to me in Bevil Oaks and we would remember all the good times we had. So sad to see him go. Rest in peace my friend.

We will all miss Thurman Bobo. I knew Bobo since our South Park High School days. Bobo is remembered for his interception return for the game winning 4th quarter touchdown to beat Port Arthur TJ in the quarter finals. The only score in the game. I have great memories of our work together in the YMBL and partners on the Fair committee Personal Div. Our prayers to Patsy and the family. Thurman was a energetic productive good guy.

Thurman has been close and loyal friend since our meeting some 40 years ago.. Many good memories of the times we spent working together on YMBL projects as well as times spent together in our personal lives. He was never too busy to stop what he was doing to help with my projects. A true friend that Mary Beth and I will certainly miss. Our prayers are with Patsy and the family.

Thurman was a good classmate and teammate. He made a big play from his linebacker position and took it all the way for a touchdown to beat Galena Park. That score enabled the entire South Park community to advance to Rice Stadium the next weekend. Ronnie Parish - SPHS Class of 1963

My Dearest Patsy, I dreamt about you and Bobo last night. Hard to explain why I am just now reaching out to you. What I do know,, we were at the lake and Bill’s BD is Aug. 23. Remembering Bill telling me of Bobo’s death. When we got back home. Honestly, I am not sure what circumstances followed that I failed to reach out. Bill and I are in Sourh Tx right now. I truly think God message d me to message you . Love you. Kelly
