Dollie Ruth Warren
Dollie Warren, 89, of Sour Lake, died Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1934, in Vidor, to Ellen Deason Brister and Louis Brister.
Survivors include her children, Dennis Warren of Sour Lake; Debbie Ernst and her husband, John, of Kirbyville; and Donna Lummus and her husband, Jason, of China; grandchildren, Deana Flowers and her husband, Billy, of Sour Lake; Dustin Ernst and his wife, Margaret, of Kirbyville; and Dalton Lummus of China; great-grandchildren, Justin, Janson, Josh, and Jaelynn; great-great-grandchildren, Harpper and Salem Frazier; and sister-in-law, Elva Lois Witt of Trinity. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, of sixty-six years, Donald Warren; and siblings, J.C. Brister, L.C. Brister, H.L. Brister, Thester Pitre, Lucille Wilkerson, Ethel Day, Dee French, and Erie Scott.
A gathering of Dollie’s family and friends will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Sour Lake.
