Dolores Josephine (Dee) Grieggs

Dolores Josephine (Dee) Grieggs, 92, passed away on March 6, 2023, in Beaumont, TX. She was born on November 29, 1930, in Kingston, PA, to the late Stella and Joseph Beneski.

Dee was a loving mother to her daughter, Sharon Grieggs Almquist, and a cherished grandmother to Inga and Erica.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Mark Grieggs, in 2007.

Dee graduated from Gowanda High School in New York, where she was an active member of the school community. She was an avid crafts person and created many beautiful works of art throughout her life.

A memorial mass to celebrate Dee’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica, 767 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, New York. Inurnment will immediately follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Dee will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
