Don Edward Melancon

Don Edward Melancon, 77, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Dubuis Hospital, Beaumont. He was born on September 12, 1939, to Lorita Broussard Melancon and Avon Melancon, in Beaumont, and was a United States Army veteran. Don always brought breakfast to the house for his grandchildren when they were home alone.

Survivors include his son, Brian Melancon of Lumberton; brother, Jerry Melancon and his wife, Margaret, of Vidor; sister, Peggy Marshall of Silsbee; and grandchildren, Erin Melancon and Benjamin Melancon.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
