Donna Powell

Donna Powell, 65, of Beaumont, died Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Willows of Kilgore. She was born on October 2, 1952, to Mamie Ruth Waldrop Stevenson and Robert Louis Stevenson, in Center, Texas.

Survivors include her daughters, Kim Sanders of Conroe and Jennifer Powell of Beaumont; brother, Mark Stevenson and his wife, Yuriko, of Kingwood; grandson, Wesley Sanders of Conroe; nephew, Barrett Besser of Sour Lake; niece, Megan Stevenson of Kingwood; brother-in-law, Robert Besser and his wife, Alicia, of Beaumont; and many aunts, uncles, and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Reverend Pam Besser.

A gathering of Ms. Powell’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Rosewood Memorial Park, 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble.
