Doris Manetta Travis

Doris Manetta Travis, 92, of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Silsbee Oaks Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 30, 1929, in Sycamore, Illinois, to Sarah Bessie DeWolf and Bernard B. Entwistle.

She was a long-time resident of Sedona, Arizona. Doris was a very gifted quilter, gardener, and an avid card player and was very active in her church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Sandrock; son, Dale Harvey; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one sister, Evelyn.

Doris is preceded in death by three sisters, Mary, Virginia, and Ruth; one brother, Conley; son, Dwight; and one grandson, Kevin.

Ms. Travis’ cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
