    Teresa Attaway Dumphy says:

Doug was a good, sweet man. He and his family came to my rescue many years ago in Refugio when our car broke down there. After Doug and Emily moved back to Sour Lake, their house was party central with never a dull moment and I was privileged to join in the fun sometimes. They raised a remarkable group of siblings. My heartfelt condolences to Sherry, Jim, “Little” Doug and all the grands. I’m sure Emily and Sandra Kay already have him playing cards or dominos among the angels. I hope you get nothing but royal flushes up there Doug!
