Elton and I worked at m&d about 28 years. We shared a many a mile going to trade shows and even one fishing trip. Years ago we taught young employees basic hardware skills in a school that even qualified for 3 hours of college credit. Elton was so committed to the job he bar of job loyalty to a new level. I will miss him at work and in my heart. God bless him and his family.

I did not know Elton to lightly describe the definition but my heart is broken to find out he has passed away . I know his soul is that of a genuine fine person, my trips to M and D were fun when Elton was there. I remember thinking that I need to find something that M and D didn't have just to try and stump Elton because believe me he always had the answer. I finally got it , when he was bagging the popcorn which is the reason I shop at M and D I walked up an leaned over to Elton who was the manager don't forget and said, could you please tell me what isle the popcorn seeds were on.....Just the look on his face was priceless and funny . We continued to laugh about those dreadful popcorn seeds every since. Got Bless Elton's family our prayers are for all of you.... Cardell

Mrs. Nugent. Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of Elton. As the "Original Part Timer" at M&D, Elton and I spend many afternoons together as he inherited much of the Managerial Shift. Elton tolerated quite a bit of nonsense out of our group, and I am not sure I could have done the same. I have very fond memories of Elton and I will miss him. A faithful man to his family, friends, and co-workers....that was Elton Nugent. I pray God will welcome him home.
